Elise Capital, a hotel real estate investment firm, announced today the acquisition of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Picayune-
Stennis Space Center, located in Picayune, Mississippi. This property marks the firm’s third hospitality acquisition in the last two years.
The three-story, 67-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites recently underwent a comprehensive renovation and features a heated indoor pool, fitness center, business center, free Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast, and over 1,200 square feet of meeting space.
“This Holiday Inn Express fits well into our investment criteria,” said Kendra Plummer, Founder & CEO, Elise Capital. “By changing management and updating systems and marketing, we believe we will be able to increase profitability and ensure the hotel is the best in class in the Pearl River County market.”
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Picayune-Stennis Space Center is located along I-59, close to Slidell and a short drive from New Orleans, Hattiesburg, and the Gulf Coast. Guests can visit local attractions, including the Infinity Science Center, Crosby Arboretum, historic downtown, and the Stennis Space Center, or take a drive to The Big Easy for a day trip to the French Quarter, Riverwalk, Aquarium of the Americas, and the New Orleans Convention Center. There are plenty of opportunities for shopping, with antique stores and the North Shore Square Mall a few minutes away.
