Wyndham Hotels & Resorts’ new hotel openings

With almost 9,000 hotels in over 80 countries, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio boasts some of the most famous hotel brands in the world. This year, the hospitality powerhouse is pleased to welcome a number of new hotels in exciting destinations to its roster, operating under the Wyndham, Dolce Hotels & Resorts by Wyndham, Ramada by Wyndham and Days Inn by Wyndham brands. These new hotels give guests the opportunity to discover new and exciting destinations, while also offering a high standard of accommodation in some of the world’s most iconic cities.

Europe

Ramada Encore Tbilisi, Georgia (opened 1st March 2018)
Located in the vibrant downtown district of Saburtalo, popular with both business and leisure travellers visiting Tbilisi, this modern hotel suits first-time travellers to Georgia and those who know this diverse and cultural country well. The hotel has taken inspiration from the city for its chic interiors and is just a short journey to famous city sights including the Tbilisi Concert Hall, Tibilisi St. Trinity Cathedral, and the Old Tbilisi “Dvezi Tbilisi” area. The hotel is pet-friendly and features 152 guest-rooms, an expansive meeting room to accommodate up to 70 attendees, a state-of-the-art gym, and The Hub Bar and The Hub Restaurant for a delicious bite to eat or relaxed drink with friends in a stylish setting.

Ramada Chorley South, England (opened 4 April 2018)
Conveniently located just off the M6 between the cities of Manchester and Blackpool, this comfortable hotel has recently completed an extensive refurbishment and is a great destination for those looking to explore the west coast’s seaside or the culture of Manchester.  Comfortable modern guest rooms, complete with colourful touches, appeal to all types of traveller – from families exploring the best of Lancashire to business travellers en route to Scotland or the south. The Junction, the onsite restaurant, is great for an easy meal of British classics, while the buffet breakfast at the hotel is a handy place to kick-start the day. A modern gym and meeting facilities are also available. For those keen to explore the local area, there’s plenty to see close to the hotel, too. This includes the market town of Chorley, with its pubs and shops, and Worden Park, a vast green space complete with a Georgian walled garden, adventure playground and miniature golf. The historic Grade II-listed Astley Hall is also nearby and is an impressive building that features a number of artworks and rotating exhibitions.

Middle East

Wyndham Doha West Bay, Qatar (opened 30 March 2018)
Located in the heart of Doha, Wyndham Doha West Bay – a short walk from The Gate Mall and city centre – is the perfect choice for holidaymakers wishing to explore Qatar’s fascinating culture, or business travellers looking for a stylish base. The 40-storey high-rise hotel offers some of the best hotel facilities in the region.  After a day of sightseeing, the hotel’s spa is just the place to relax, with a sauna, steam room, hot tub and pool. Guests may choose to spend their time relaxing by one of the four large swimming pools and have a large selection of restaurants to choose from: the Lobby Cafe is perfect for a quick croissant and coffee and the soon-to-open Pool Lounge & Cafe is great for a healthy lunch.

Wyndham Garden Ajman Corniche, Ajman, UAE (opened 15 May 2018)
Ideally located on the coast of the emirate of Ajman, Wyndham Garden Ajman Corniche is a beautiful hotel that has been designed with both leisure and business guests in mind. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow natural light to flood into the 179 contemporary bedrooms and suites, which are dressed with vibrant flashes of colour. Along with sumptuous bathrooms, and living areas, all guest rooms boast fantastic views over the Arabian Gulf, with plenty of balcony space for soaking up the sunsets. Greece

Wyndham Athens Residence, Greece (opened 20 April 2018)
Located in the heart of Athens, the new hotel offers high-quality accommodation in a city brimming with incredible history, culture and fantastic dining opportunities. The collection of brand-new rooms and suites are an excellent choice for design-savvy travellers, including families and business travellers looking for a calm, convenient and contemporary stay.  Located in one of the most sought-after areas in the city, it’s a central base from which to explore Athens, whether it’s seeing the famous sites of the Acropolis and National Archaeological Museum or the up-and-coming dining districts. Guests are also able to make the most of the exceptional facilities at the neighbouring Wyndham Grand Athens Hotel. These include a rooftop outdoor pool, above – the exceptional rooftop restaurant which serves innovative twists on Greek cuisine – plus a fully-equipped health club with state-of-the-art gym equipment and a sauna.

Dolce Attica Riviera, Greece (opened 1 March 2018)
This stylish beachside resort, tucked into the hillside and surrounded by trees, is a perfect place for travellers looking for peace and relaxation, while also having easy access to Athens’ historic sites.  Dolce Attica Riviera is Wyndham’s first Dolce hotel in Greece and boasts 346 modern and light-filled bedrooms, bungalows and suites – many of which offer spectacular sea views – plus a large outdoor pool and calm sandy beach. The spa and thalassotherapy centre are one of the best in the region, with a hot tub and sauna to soothe tired muscles, plus a sparkling indoor pool. A number of bars and restaurants will satisfy all palates, from the colourful Thea restaurant – a bright and vibrant setting for a delicious buffet breakfast – to Filema, an à la carte restaurant which serves fresh Mediterranean cuisine. There are plenty of on-site activities to keep guests occupied, including windsurfing, volleyball and tennis, but for those keen to see more, the famous ancient ruins of Brauron are a short drive away.

Ramada Attica Riviera, Greece (opened 14 March 2018)
Ramada Attica Riviera is a peaceful hotel located on the Mediterranean Sea, just 29 kilometres outside of Athens. With just 129 bedrooms – many of which have fantastic sea views – the hotel offers its guests fantastic service and warm hospitality. Light-filled bedrooms feel welcoming and cosy, with colourful bedspreads and cushions, plus plenty of space. For guests just keen on some rest and relaxation, Ramada Attica Riviera is just the place. The large pool is a suntrap with sea views, while there’s also access to a quiet sandy beach. Turkey

Ramada Sakarya Hendek, Turkey (opened 22 May 2018)
Located in the charming town of Hendek in north-western Turkey, Ramada Sakarya Hendek is a new, modern hotel that will suit both leisure and business travellers visiting this unspoiled, lesser-known region of Turkey. Featuring 81 luxurious bedrooms, a spa complete with Turkish hammam, sauna and steam room, plus a gym and onsite restaurant serving delicious local cuisine, the property is a comfortable and stylish base from which to work, or set out to explore. The hotel is also conveniently located close to the D100 highway, which allows guests to easily reach the towns of Duzce and Sakarya. Duzce is an unspoilt destination and rafting hotspot, while nearby is the beautiful Lake Sapanca, famous for its beautiful freshwater swimming. Ramada Plaza Rize, Turkey (opened 30 April 2018)
Located in the heart of north-west Turkey’s picturesque tea-growing region, the elegant Ramada Plaza Rize allows guests to take in the best of the region with ease: whether it’s relaxing on the nearby beaches of İyidere and Çayeli or taking a hike in the Firtina Valley in the Kackar Mountains National Park, an hour and a half drive away. The prime location is also just a 15-minute drive from the Rize Castle and the Ziraat Botanic Tea Garden. At the hotel, guests will enjoy a comfortable stay featuring warm Turkish hospitality. Spacious modern bedrooms are decorated in calming natural colours, and can cater to couples, business travellers or families – there is also a children’s pool and play area for kids wanting to make new friends.
