The Blue Energy Committee is a charity initiative created by Ramses Hilton management, which is the first hotel in the region to participate in such a philanthropic activity.
As part of Ramses Hilton commitment to preserving the environment and helping develop the community, the charity has made a partnership with the Egyptian Food Bank. The hotel donates its food surplus resulting from Events & Weddings, which are repacked into meals to be distributed to the needy people in worst condition areas.
As for the leftover cooked food, the Ramses Hilton has partnered with ESMA – the Egyptian Society for Mercy to Animals, where they send their cars to collect the leftover food in special containers. ESMA is a charity that operates a shelter and adoption centre to protect and rescue animals – they have over 1000 dogs and 800 cats. The hotel has donated more than 600 kg of food to the shelter.
