Next week, Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®) is holding its annual Club Summit with one of its largest registration rosters in the history of the five-year event. Established in 2018, this conference has quickly become a key program for the association’s club segment offerings. The Summit delivers a vital opportunity for high-level club professionals and industry experts to directly address the topics that are most compelling and important to this specialized segment of hospitality.
Scheduled for next Monday and Tuesday (March 27–28) at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown in Denver Colo; HFTP is expecting 185+ attendees for the education, networking and table-top exhibits.
“When HFTP established the Club Summit it filled a necessary niche for a high-level, interactive gathering for this segment of the industry,” said Linnet Baskett, HFTP Staff Vice President, Clubs. “Based on previous years’ experiences, the word has spread amongst our stakeholders that this is an important event to attend and become current on matters of importance to club finance professionals.”
The education program will cover a slate of current topics addressing ongoing concerns in club finance and technology operations. The expert-led presentations will offer a practical perspective on their subjects and encourage engagement from attendees. The topics include: cybersecurity, financial risks, staffing solutions, capital planning, employment law compliance, insurance, and club software.
Pairing with the education program are table-top exhibits featuring representatives from several club solution provider companies. This offers attendees an opportunity to explore services and products available to them in relation to what they learn about in the education sessions. The exhibits will be open during the networking breaks, providing a relaxed setting to visit with company representatives.
Coming up, HFTP is also producing several other events in 2023. First is HITEC Dubai on May 23-24, in partnership with dmg events at The Hotel Show Dubai at the Dubai World Trade Center in Dubai, UAE. Next is HITEC North America on June 26–29 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto. Then, closing out the year are the one-day, members-only Club Forum on October 17 and the HFTP Annual Convention on October 18-20.
