It is at the Melia Hotel Paris La Defense, on the sunny rooftop this May 4th, that Philippe FRANCOIS and his team organisedÊthis 15th edition of ECORISMO.

The Skyline Bar on the rooftop of Melia Hotel was full to bursting this May 04th. Indeed, 22 eco-suppliers exhibitors filled the space by answering Ecorismo’s call and presenting their eco-solutions to the hotel managers invited to this event. For this 15th edition of Ecorismo (forum-salon created in 2007) the offer presented was particularly rich and innovative: interactive animation applications for both leisure and urban hotels (Atelier Nature), the eco-gifts in boxes concept (Naturabox), new organic fruit juices (PAF) with amazing flavours, ideas in urban agriculture and green spaces (NeoBab, Urban Forests) or in eco-construction of hotels (Espace GAIA), several eco-friendly solutions textiles (Luxiplume, Bamboo Counter, Odonate or Easytex, faithful from the beginning to Ecorismo), or cleaning (Vapodil, Solpan), micro-filtered water (Castalie), waste oil management (Vito), but also the Green Globe certification that is particularly relevant to major Parisian hotels. Accessibility, safety and well-being at work are also always present at Ecorismo (Okeenea, Fixacouette, Konica, PayGreen or GreenMe, for example).

On the Forum side, a dozen of workshops have punctuated the day. Two new features were presented: the “Voyageons-Autrement: 10 years of sustainable development in tourism” guide and the new FTC security service offer, called “SECURISMO” and presented by Philippe FRANCOIS: with climate change and biodiversity, security is now the third area in which we, hoteliers, restaurateurs and tourism executives, should think about the creation of new methods of prevention and crisis management. “Without security, there can be no more tourism! “Says Philippe FRANCOIS.
