Free registrations open for 2018 Drinks Industry Show

width=Registrations are now open for the 2018 Drinks Industry Show in June, as well as the pre-event Ñ the must-be-at Summer Party on March 5th at Botanic Gardens Restaurant in Sydney’s Royal Botanic Garden.

And this year, the Drinks Industry Show is an event like no other. Still only for the drinks trade, and still only for those interested in experiencing and learning the latest, this two-day, free event will turn Dockside into a Òliquor cityÓ where the trade can sample the hottest tastes from cherry-picked exhibitors who have exactly what consumers are seeking in 2018.

Event Director David Paterson, of organiser Exhibitions & Trade Fairs, said, ÒIt’s time to meet Ôthe maker’ Ñ the maker of the latest brands and tastes in liquor right now. The tastes and brands your customers want. Some of these brands will be well known, some won’t be known well at all. The point is, the 2018 Drinks Industry Show is all about discovering liquor that suits your menu, so your business will stand out.

ÒWe’ll have lots of exciting activation points, as well as two official networking opportunities. The food pairings will bring interesting, innovative food and beverage combinations together, while the Boutique Tasting Lounge will offer the opportunity to sit down, relax, and compare the very latest brands through a series of intimate category tastings. These tastings will engage attendees through all their senses, so they can experience a handpicked selection of fresh and exciting beer, cider, wine and spirit products from different global regions. There is only one tasting session, and it’s free, so arrive early to the Boutique Tastings Lounge!Ó

Mr Paterson said because it was so popular last year, the 2018 Drinks Industry Show will again have the latest in industry trends, knowledge and learnings for attendees to learn.

ÒOnce again, we’ll have top industry leaders and innovators to inform, inspire and share their knowledge uniquely with the trade. The workshops are all free to attend for buyers.Ó

Mr Paterson said the Dockside venue, overlooking Sydney’s Darling Harbour, was the perfect spot for the fun, informative, event-like-no-other, 2018 Drinks Industry Show.

ÒAnd in just a few weeks, the Summer Party will be a fantastic prelude to this show. What better way to spend a Monday evening?! With headline sponsor Hemp Oz and beverage sponsor Samuel Smith & Son, this cocktail-networking event will have a backdrop of live entertainment as Drinks Industry Show Event Curator Ben Davidson will create two exclusive cocktails for our 60-plus VIP guests, who’ll be coming from multiple beverage-industry sectors. We’ll also have more than 40 boutique suppliers from across Australia in attendance.

ÒAs well as the cocktails Ñ one classic and one new creation to celebrate launching this hip new show Ñ attendees can look forward to experiencing a taste of the food pairing station that we’ll have at the Drinks Industry Show in June.

ÒFor even more fun, we’ll have an ÔIf the Key Fits Competition’, with some fantastic prizes to be won if your key is Ôthe key’.

ÒThe Summer Party will be a great, fun yet relaxed way to catch up with peers and leaders before the June show as well as learning about the exciting changes to the 2018 Drinks Industry Show and its format.Ó
