Namgyal Sherpa, CEO of the Sherpa Hospitality Group, has announced the appointment of Mr Pradyot Rana as General Manager for the 29-suite all-inclusive Shinta Mani Mustang – A Bensley Collection, opening in Nepal on 1 August 2023. Pradyot’s appointment will be effective from the end of June.
A proud Nepali native, Pradyot holds a Bachelor Degree in International Business from the Management Development Institute in Singapore. After graduating in 2007, he spent 5 years in the finance industry before beginning his hospitality career as a Senior Naturalist and Camp Manager for Pugdundee Safari M.P. which are recognized as one of India’s leading responsible safari companies. He then spent two years as Senior Naturalist at the Samode Safari Lodge, Relais and Chateau in Bandhavgarth M.P. India before becoming Resident Manager at the Jagatpur Lodge by the Ananapurna Group of Hotels. His most recent role prior to joining Shinta Mani Mustang – A Bensley Collection was as Project and Business Development Manager at Tiger Tops Nepal who have been pioneering sustainable high-end tourism in Nepal since the early sixties.
Pradyot’s strong background in luxury hospitality and his vast knowledge of the region and creating bespoke unique guest experiences in remote locations makes him the perfect person for his exciting new role as Shinta Mani Mustang – A Bensley Collection elevates the luxury guest experience in the region.
Pradyot will manage all aspects of operations at Shinta Mani Mustang – A Bensley Collection. The luxury lodge will offer an all-inclusive, experiential travel experience, with the guests’ journey curated to provide the most remarkable 360-degree, luxury experience in the Himalayas; one of the most unique and preserved regions in the world. A highly personalized private 5-night guest experience programme will honour the traditions of local Sherpa hospitality and has been curated exclusively for guests, with a different activity every day for up to two weeks, including trekking, horse riding, rock climbing, cycling, archery, hiking, helicopter tours, wellness and more.
