HOTEL DU PONT appoints Jeremy Costa as new Managing Director

HOTEL DU PONT, the award-winning independent luxury hotel, and beloved Wilmington, Delaware landmark, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeremy Costa as Managing Director. As the newest addition to the dynamic leadership team, industry veteran Costa will oversee capital improvements while furthering the recognition, preservation, and celebration of the hotel and its 110-year history.

Costa brings over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with extensive knowledge and experience in hotel operations and luxury brands. Since joining PM Hotel Group in 2018 as complex General Manager, Costa led the Sheraton Philadelphia Society Hill Hotel through a multi-million dollar renovation and rebranding as the Philadelphia Marriott Old City Hotel, in addition to overseeing the Renaissance Philadelphia Downtown. He previously held both General Manager and Regional Director of Operations roles under Hersha Hospitality Management, which included luxury and independent hotels like Marriott Mystic Hotel & Spa, The St. Gregory Hotel, and Capitol Hill Hotel (both in Washington, D.C.); and more.

In synergistic partnership with the collaborative team, Managing Director Costa will drive financial performance through a continued commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and unparalleled guest experiences that have become the hallmarks of the HOTEL DU PONT.

Living in New Jersey, Jeremy’s free time consists of coaching baseball for his son’s travel team, watching his daughter dance, spending time at the shore and with his kids, binge-watching shows with his wife, and being a 24-year season ticket holder for the Philadelphia Eagles.
