Echoing their unwavering commitment to delivering legendary service to all, the iconic Badrutt’s Palace Hotel has this January announced the reopening of their staff restaurant, Bella Vista, with a complete redesign and build to welcome in a new look and feel exclusive for employees to enjoy.
A bastion of Alpine hospitality and the preferred destination of the international elite, Badrutt’s Palace Hotel has long entrusted guardianship over its guest service to its team of 600 employees, whose dedication and unrivaled passion are instrumental to the smooth running and success of the hotel. Reinforcing their recognition of the impact each team member has on upholding the levels of service synonymous with the Badrutt’s Palace name, in February 2022 the board of directors and management team revealed plans to redesign the existing 40-year-old staff restaurant, Bella Vista, and reopen it with a stylish and innovative design by internationally renowned Hong Kong architect, Henan Zanghellini.
Revealed and ready for the 2023 winter season, Bella Vista welcomes employees back through its doors equipped with high-quality, modern materials in warm tones against a backdrop of lake vistas. Further updates include an outside terrace and a communal chef’s table-style layout to compliment the open-plan surroundings.
With Chef Paolo Vottre at the helm, employees can enjoy fresh and varied menus encompassing specialties and cuisines from around the globe. Orders are placed via an electronic kiosk system and served up by plate service to eliminate long queues. Staff can also opt for the extensive take-away offering available and are able to order online via the app for a seamless experience.
Richard Leuenberger, Managing Director of Badrutt’s Palace, says: “Bella Vista is now the most beautiful staff restaurant in the world and offers incredible added value for our team. We are pleased that we can give something back to our dedicated employees for the incredible commitment they make.” Regular Peter, Director of Human Resources, adds: “We strive to work with the very best team members, and we want to offer them something to incentivize and reward their efforts.”
