Off the back of the successful launch of their homegrown Adina and Vibe brands in Singapore, Austria, and soon-to-be Switzerland, TFE Hotels has announced a new global leadership structure to help steer business and operational strategy and drive future expansion. TFE Hotels’ CEO, Antony Ritch, said the creation of three new Global Officer Roles, spanning Sales, Revenue, and Marketing, would help cement TFE’s hospitality networks in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia (through TFE’s joint venture partnership with Far East Hospitality).
“I’m delighted to announce that Amanda Hoolihan, Katia Giurtalis, and Shahnaz Bakhshay have been promoted into Global Officer roles,” Ritch said. “With almost 40 years of combined TFE Hotels’ tenure, these senior executives will facilitate our international networks to optimize our business outcomes as we continue our global expansion.”
Brisbane-based Amanda Hoolihan, in the newly created Global Revenue Officer role, will work to enhance TFE’s revenue management practices and drive innovation, and ultimately results, for the group.
Ritch said that during Amanda’s 13-year tenure with TFE, her strategic thinking and proactive, goal-driven approach played an instrumental role in changing revenue management.
“The growth that has been reflected in Amanda’s innovative analytic adaptions has played a large part in the rapid recovery for TFE Hotels, post-pandemic,” Ritch said. “And I’m pleased to see Amanda step up into a global role.”
Proving the power that the brand plays in creating value for TFE Hotels, Katia Giurtalis has been tasked with driving a brand-centric cultural shift. As Global Marketing Officer, Katia will be responsible for steering the global growth of TFE’s brands, and ensuring guest experiences are enhanced through digital technology.
With a background in digital marketing and global eCommerce, Sydney-based Katia has spent the last seven years at TFE Hotels most recently leading the brand and digital transformation of the organisation; and ensuring the TFE story resonates with the traveling public before, during, and after a TFE guest experience.
Like her fellow Global Officers in their respective disciplines, Shahnaz Bakhshay has played a prominent role in the success of TFE’s sales function over the past 19 years, having led the sales division in ANZ since 2016.
Shahnaz believes that, as TFE Hotels continues to expand globally, it is important that organisational outcomes align across geographies. As Global Sales Officer, she will be focused on developing and implementing global (and local) sales strategies and driving cross-pollination of client coverage.
“In her new global role, Shahnaz will ensure sales best practice is implemented across all teams and synergies in order to maximise business opportunities and streamline standardise systems and processes,” Antony Ritch said. “I am excited to see Shahnaz take on this challenge, particularly as markets are recovering and trends are emerging in global travel post-pandemic.”
Ritch said he was also delighted to announce the formation of a wider Global Leadership team that will see Tish Nyar move into a Senior Director of Operations ANZ role.
