
Remington Hospitality, an innovative and dynamic top-rated third-party hotel management company, announced today the appointment of Nicole Shanks as Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, Shanks will lead the company’s human resources strategy, overseeing talent acquisition, leadership development, total rewards, HR technology, learning and development, and associate engagement across Remington’s growing portfolio.

Shanks joins Remington from Sonesta Hotels & Resorts, where she most recently served as Chief People Officer, leading the people strategy across 200 hotels and more than 9,000 associates. She oversaw organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, total rewards, HR technology, learning and development, and culture transformation.
Prior to Sonesta, Shanks served as Vice President of Human Resources at Controlled Contamination Services, where she built the company’s human resources infrastructure to support continued growth. Earlier in her career, she held human resources leadership positions at Texas Western Hospitality, Omni Hotels & Resorts, and Pillar Hotels & Resorts.

Shanks earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University and holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification through HRCI. She is also an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
