This Spring, Le Grand Controle is thrilled to announce the launch of Le Pavillon des Jardiniers, a newly restored wing at the iconic property, comprising a new casual restaurant concept from Alain Ducasse, La Table des Jardiniers, and two elegantly renovated suites, inspired by the creators of the gardens of Versailles and the splendor of French formal gardens. Just as Marie-Antoinette found refuge from the bustle of the royal court at the Petit Trianon, Le Grand Contrôle now has its own sanctuary. Imagined as a private country retreat, Le Pavillon des Jardiniers offers a spectacular setting for festive soirées with friends, intimate chandelier-lit dinners, weekend escapes and family outings.
Unfurling across two floors, the two elegantly renovated suites have been meticulously designed by world-renowned architect and interior designer Christophe Tollemer, who has been responsible for the design aesthetic across all Airelles maisons. Featuring period furniture, works of art, precious fabrics by Maison Pierre Frey, and carefully selected antiques, the suites are an homage to the estate’s master gardeners. More than just suites, these are private royal apartments reminiscent of those occupied by French monarchs in the 18th century, with magnificent views over the Orangerie Gardens.
Le Pavillon des Jardiniers is the quintessence of the Grand Siècle. The interior spaces stand out for their lavishness with more than 2,690 sq ft of living space, including two bedrooms with king-size beds, a children’s room with twin beds, and a large 387 sq ft living room with a double sofa bed bathed in natural light.
Dedicated to Louis XIV’s head gardener, Jean-Baptiste de La Quintinie, the creator of the famous King’s Kitchen Garden, the Quintinie Suite, spans over 1,291 sq ft, featuring a spacious master bedroom, a children’s room with twin beds, and two bathrooms offering complete comfort. Located on the second floor of Le Pavillon des Jardiniers, an independent wing extending from Le Grand Contrôle, the Le Nôtre Suite pays tribute to André Le Nôtre, creator of the gardens of Versailles. Spanning over 1,291 sq ft, the suite features a king bedroom, living room and bathroom.
Open every evening to both external and hotel guests, La Table des Jardiniers offers a relaxed and convivial take on French classics by Alain Ducasse, revealing a more approachable side of the renowned chef beyond his Michelin-starred gastronomy. In the dining room, overlooking the peaceful gardens, the restaurant is designed around the joy of sharing food at the table. The menu features generous, comforting dishes meant to be enjoyed together, drawing inspiration from the château’s history and traditions – from pot-au-feu and blanquette de veau to onion soup and mimosa eggs. Desserts include timeless classics like chocolate mousse and delicate îles flottantes.

The Jardinier Suite is available from €20,000, including dinner, while full privatization of the Pavillon, including the restaurant, starts from €25,000.
