Andrew Whiteside appointed Executive Chef at Conrad Washington, DC

Conrad Washington, DC announces the appointment of Andrew Whiteside as its new Executive Chef, bringing nearly 20 years of culinary leadership in luxury hotel and resort kitchens across the U.S., Canada, and Bermuda. In his new role at Conrad Washington, DC, Whiteside will oversee all culinary operations at the hotel, including in-room dining, events and banquets, and seasonal programming at the hotel’s rooftop, Summit at Conrad.

Most recently, Whiteside served as Executive Chef at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale, where he oversaw all aspects of the culinary operation including the property’s two signature restaurants and was part of the team recognized with a One MICHELIN Key in 2024. Prior, he served as Executive Chef at Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto and Executive Sous Chef at Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco. His first experience with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts was as Executive Sous Chef at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea.

Whiteside has also held culinary leadership positions with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, including the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle, Fairmont Southampton in Bermuda, and Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta, Canada. He began his career at independent restaurants in Ontario, Canada, where he developed a reputation for his elegant plating, sustainability-driven philosophy, and ability to lead large-scale culinary operations with both creativity and precision.
