Bunkhouse announces new Houston project opening in 2025 (Hotel Daphne)

Marriott Marquis Houston appoints new General Manager

Nour Laasri has been appointed Marriott International’s new Area General Manager, Houston, and General Manager for Marriott Marquis Houston. In his role as General Manager, Laasri will act as the primary strategic leader for the 1,000-room Marriott Marquis Houston. He will oversee the success of all day-to-day operations, financial performance, sales and revenue generation, and guest & employee satisfaction strategies. As Area General Manager, Laasri will serve as an active member of the Houston community and will help the hotel team foster deeper relationships with local officials and businesses in the area.
