Nonius was selected to modernise the Wi-Fi network to Wi-Fi 6 technology and upgrade the cabling infrastructure to fibre and new switches.

Located in the heart of the Berrini business district in São Paulo, the Hotel Transamérica Berrini stands out for offering its guests a complete experience, combining comfort and convenience. With 148 rooms, the hotel has improved its Wi-Fi network infrastructure to meet the growing demands for fast, stable and secure Internet.

The Challenge: An outdated Wi-Fi Network that limited the Guest experience

The hotel’s existing Wi-Fi infrastructure no longer met current needs, presenting coverage and signal quality problems in some areas, negatively impacting the overall guest experience. Aware of the importance of offering high-quality Internet, the Hotel Transamérica Berrini searched for a complete solution to modernise its Wi-Fi network and guarantee highly available connectivity for all its guests.

The Solution: Nonius and the implementation of Wi-Fi 6 and updated infrastructure

Nonius, a company with over 19 years’ experience in Internet solutions, was the partner chosen for the project. The implementation of the Nonius Internet and Nonius Networks solutions enabled the upgrade of the Wi-Fi network to the new Wi-Fi 6 standard, as well as the readjustment of the cabling and switch infrastructure. Wi-Fi 6 provided a significant leap in connection quality, offering greater speed, capacity and coverage, even in congested environments. The upgrade of the cabling infrastructure to fibre and new switches guaranteed stability and reliability to the network, ensuring an extraordinary Internet experience for all users.
