Spectrum Enterprise Selected as a Qualified Vendor for Fiber Internet Access by Choice Hotels International

At AAHOA 2019, Spectrum Enterprise, a part of Charter Communications, Inc., announced that it has been designated as a Qualified Vendor (QV) forFiber Internet Access by Choice Hotels International, one of the world’s largest hotel franchisors. This agreement provides Choice Hotels properties with access to a dedicated Fiber Internet Access service that meets Choice Hotels’ standards.

Reliable high-speed Internet access is a feature that hotel guests have come to expect. To ensure that guests are receiving the most consistent, quality experience possible, Choice Hotels is requiring its franchised hotels to deploy a qualified fiber-based Internet access solution.

“At Choice Hotels, we continually seek opportunities to help our franchisees fuel their profitability while providing outstanding service and accommodations for guests. Spectrum Enterprise is an important addition to our Qualified Vendor Program. The company delivers fiber-based solutions that exceed guest expectations, while also supporting our high-speed Internet access standards,” said Russell Anderson, Director, Partner Technology Programs and Accounts, Choice Hotels.

With today’s announcement, Choice Hotels owners can now acquire a scalable, QV-delivered Fiber Internet Access service from Spectrum Enterprise with symmetrical bandwidth options up to 10 Gbps. The solutions are backed by an industry-leading Service Level Agreement (SLA) that provides clients with 99.99 percent availability. These SLAs cover the entire Spectrum Enterprise network including the connection to premise equipment and commitment of four hours to restore.

“As hotels transform to support the changing connectivity expectations of their guests, their network infrastructure needs to evolve to accommodate faster speed and bandwidth requirements,” said Raj Mukherji, Vice President, Product, Vertical and Channel Marketing, Spectrum Enterprise. “Our Fiber Internet Access service provides dedicated, highly reliable access that our hotel clients need to deliver a consistent and superior guest experience.”
