As part of its $100 million transformation, The Diplomat is continuously enhancing all aspects of its guest experience, including its lobby with a new and memorable signature scent.
The Diplomat’s Hotel Manager, Tamas Vago said that the scent “creates a 360-degree arrival experience for guests, opens up their senses and gets them ready to experience a tropical paradise.”
The scent complements the cool whites, vibrant turquoise and fuchsia of the resort’s décor. The fragrance also evokes the sparkling Atlantic waters and multicultural excitement of South Florida with grapefruit, sage, eucalyptus, with mid-notes of patchouli and florals, grounded in sensual vetiver and musks.
The bespoke scent greets guests in the soaring, 3-story lobby and glass atrium, including the front desk area, lobby seating areas and Hotel Bar. Since the scenting program was launched in mid-May, Mr Vago says the response from guests has been overwhelmingly positive and leaves a lasting impression.
“Since so many of our guests have been commenting on our scent and asking where they could buy it, we decided to start selling candles with our signature scent in the gift shop and spa,” he noted.
