Avvio takes HSMAI Region Europe Awards by storm

 width=Leading hotel technology provider Avvio continued its winning streak after being presented an award for its innovative booking engine Allora at a prestigious European event.

Joint sessions in Amsterdam, which are a collaboration between Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) and HSMAI (Hospitality, Sales and Marketing Association International) Region Europe, have brought together hundreds of professionals from across the hospitality industry.

Avvio picked up the Best Technology Innovator of the Year award for Allora at the HSMAI Region Europe Awards, which form part of the events.

Allora is the next generation of booking engine. It uses AI skills such as Learning Models to analyse large volumes of data and identify which variations will yield the best booking engine configuration.ÊThis allows it to focus on driving direct booking and guest loyalty by orchestrating better online interactions between hotels and guests.

Mr Reeves also took part in the co-located HITEC Europe events as a speaker.

He delivered a talk on ÔArtificial Intelligence and Voice Recognition: Impact on Hospitality’, and Ian Sloan, vice president of client strategy, joined a panel session focusing on direct bookings versus online travel agencies.
