Stonebridge, a Denver-based, privately owned, nationally recognized hotel management company, announced today the addition of the JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown to its managed portfolio. The luxury hotel recently completed an extensive renovation and repositioning from the former W Atlanta Downtown to JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown, transforming the property into one of downtown Atlanta’s newest luxury hospitality offerings.
The 237-room property features a rooftop pool, fitness center, business center, full-service spa, executive lounge, and several food-and-beverage outlets, including Fiora Cucina Italiana, Ledger Bar & Lounge, JW Market, and The Perch, an all-weather rooftop pool bar and restaurant overlooking the Atlanta skyline. The property offers over 15,000 square feet of flexible meeting space across eight event rooms.
“JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown represents exactly the type of high-quality asset where Stonebridge can create value through disciplined operations, commercial expertise, and a focus on long-term performance,” said Rob Smith, CEO of Stonebridge. “The ownership group’s investment in the property’s transformation has created a compelling luxury asset in one of the Southeast’s most dynamic lodging markets. We look forward to building on that momentum and driving strong results for ownership.”
Ideally situated in the heart of downtown Atlanta, the JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown offers guests convenient access to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Georgia Aquarium, and Centennial Olympic Park. The property’s comprehensive renovation elevated every aspect of the guest experience, introducing redesigned guestrooms and suites, enhanced food-and-beverage concepts, wellness-focused amenities, upgraded meeting and event spaces, and a new executive lounge.
Stonebridge will leverage its fully integrated operating platform across revenue management, sales, e-commerce and digital strategy, food-and-beverage operations, and labor optimization, with a focus on maximizing profitability and enhancing long-term asset value for ownership.
The addition further strengthens Stonebridge’s presence in the luxury segment, complementing a diverse portfolio that includes luxury, resort, full-service, lifestyle, and premium select-service hotels across the country. The company continues to pursue opportunities where active management, operational discipline, and commercial expertise can unlock value and improve performance for ownership.
