In 1960, Château Saint-Martin & Spa, Oetker Collection Masterpiece Hotel, built six villas facing the property, adding a new dimension to its guest accommodations. Offering intimacy and conviviality, the villa experience is enhanced by the Château’s exclusive services.
Featuring from one to three bedrooms, the villas were renovated between 2018 and 2019, undergoing updates to enrich them with contemporary comforts and a refined, luminous décor. Villa guests benefit from the services of a dedicated butler who is available seven days a week to meet their every request. In addition, guests are granted privileged access to the hotel’s many amenities, from the refined pleasure of culinary delights at the restaurants to relaxation in a cabana by the pool, in-villa spa treatments, or even a private chef to prepare a special dinner in the villa’s kitchen.
Newly unveiled for the 2024 season, additional improvements have been made to enhance the one-bedroom Villa Riou and the three-bedroom Villa Saint-Martin.
Villa Riou: One Bedroom
Ideal for a couple’s getaway to the French Riviera region, this villa offers a generous 70 square meter (750 sq. ft) across two levels. The villa’s upper floor features a private terrace that overlooks a panoramic view of the property’s century-old olive trees. The open, spacious living room includes a dining area to enjoy the delicious creations of Executive Chef Jean-Luc Lefrançois and his team in complete privacy. A peaceful haven with an intimate atmosphere, Villa Riou now features a sumptuous hot tub. Nestled in a tranquil, verdant corner, this 2 m (6.5 ft) wide and 80 cm (2.6 ft) deep sanctuary offers an unparalleled sensory experience under the sun or moonlight.
Villa Saint-Martin: Three Bedrooms
The largest of the hotel’s private villas spans 155 square meter (1668 sq. ft) with three bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms in a warm and elegant atmosphere. Spread across two levels, Villa Saint-Martin features a spacious living room with a dining area. The welcoming living space opens onto an expansive terrace, where the views extend from the hotel’s Provençal gardens to the rolling hills of the Riviera backcountry, all the way to the sparkling blue of the Mediterranean coastline. The fully equipped kitchen is designed to accommodate a private chef for a convivial dinner. Accentuating the comfort and refinement, Villa Saint-Martin now features a refreshing outdoor pool. Measuring 5 m (16 ft) long, 3 m (10 ft) wide, and 1.50 m (5 ft) deep, the pool inspires a deep sensation of well-being under the azure sky. Enveloped by a sun-drenched terrace, the new swimming pool is an invitation to relax and savour the beauty of the landscape in total privacy.
