The Hideaway, an art deco modern speakeasy, hidden just off Lower Sloane Street in Chelsea is now open for nights of wild abandon (or just a nice drink
after work) with weekly live music nights on a Friday where you can expect jazz, blues, rock and gypsy sounds. The Hideaway launches this winter season with a delicious and innovative cocktail menu and tasty bar food with an Asian European twist.
Cocktails have been inspired by romantic notions of the speakeasy of yesteryear with a playful and punchy list of signature cocktails alongside all the cocktails classics and mocktails too. For something different, try a smokey Old Wild Mex with tequila, Cointreau and homemade smoked almond syrup with lime juice and tabasco. For an indulgent spin on the negroni, try the Choc & Coffee Negroni made from coffee liqueur, rum and Campari. For those with a sweeter palate, a Lychee & Rose Martini should hit the spot made with gin, lychee liqueur, rose syrup and lemon juice. These slip down delightfully with one of the tantalising bar snacks that include tiger prawn tempura with sweet chili sauce, roasted cauliflower salad and crispy duck spring rolls. What is a modern speakeasy? The Hideaway honours the spirit of the bootleg basements and swinging music of the past with an updated experience in sleek Art Deco surroundings and an exquisite food and beverage experience highlighted by fabulous music. If you don’t fancy travelling too far after a night at The Hideaway, check in to one of the luxurious beds at Sloane Place upstairs with rooms starting from £200. Planning a private event? The Hideaway is a unique venue for up to 60 guests for a party that can be personalised with delicious canapés and bowl foods.
