The Buenaventura Golf & Beach Resort, a family-friendly destination beach resort located just two hours from Panama City, raises the bar for luxury hospitality and welcomes guests to experience the comfort of its newly enhanced stylish guest rooms and suites.
The renovation project, spearheaded by Watermark Design Group, maintained the hotel’s historic Panamanian culture and heritage while updating its look, presenting a unique blend of coastal elegance and contemporary design. The design details extend to each guest room featuring Spanish Colonial style with a calming color palette of nude and cream color fabrics, complemented by warm undertones of dark oak wood furniture. Carefully curated Panamanian décor accents are part of each guestroom including handcrafted pillows, handwoven traditional baskets, and tagua carvings with influence from the central provinces of the country.
Guests can enjoy a stylish stay in one of the luxury rooms, featuring private balconies, plush mattresses, and marble or hardwood floors. These touches add a modern flair to the guestrooms, allowing guests to feel refreshed coming back to their rooms after a busy day exploring the resort’s many amenities, miles of uncrowded beaches, and unique rainforest experiences.
“What better way to welcome our guests back to the comfortable and family-friendly atmosphere we have here at the hotel,” said Victor Concepción, general manager of The Buenaventura Golf & Beach Resort. “The guest room renovation reflects the resort’s mission to consistently exceed our guests’ expectations. The Buenaventura’s location is one of Panama’s most desired luxury beach communities, and we couldn’t be happier to provide guests with a meaningful cultural connection during their stay through our guest room redesign.”
Among many of its luxurious and enjoyable amenities, The Buenaventura is home to a world-class experience perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors. The resort offers a range of onsite activities with ten swimming pools, a Nicklaus-designed 18-hole championship golf course, biking, tennis, sports club, spa, and many other nearby experiences. Equipped with chef-driven restaurants and curated mixologist experiences, The Buenaventura recently updated its restaurant menus and culinary offerings. Guests can start their day with a Panamanian breakfast buffet in Criollo Restaurant, enjoy a fine dining experience at El Faro Beach Club, sip on Panamanian-inspired cocktails at Palapa Bar, or simply indulge in fresh-caught sushi and Teppanyaki-style cuisine at Tai Kai Sushi & Martini.
After a long day of adventuring, guests can unwind at the resort’s Corotú Spa for the ultimate decompress. From a menu of custom luxury treatments, guests are invited to soothe their specific needs between deep-tissue massages, invigorating body scrubs and wraps, and stress-melting facials.
