Saranac Waterfront LodgeTLG Investment Partners announced the opening of the Saranac Waterfront Lodge, a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, as the newest independent boutique hotel located in the heart of the Adirondack High Peaks.

The only full-service waterfront property on Lake Flower in the village of Saranac Lake, the hotel offers unmatched views of the surrounding lake and mountains, locally sourced food, and best-in-class service and amenities. The hotel will be managed by Skyward Hospitality.

Ideally situated directly on Lake Flower’s Pontiac Bay shores, the hotel is located within walking distance of downtown Saranac Lake, just a few miles from Lake Placid and 20 miles from Tupper Lake.

“The Saranac Waterfront Lodge is in the heart of the High Peaks region centrally located to an unlimited array of year-round recreational facilities and opportunities,” said Leland C. Pillsbury, Managing General Partner, TLG Investment Partners. “As the first LEED-certified hotel in the Adirondacks, we will be the premier property and pride of the community featuring many local aspects to make guests feel at home while they are traveling”

Saranac Waterfront Lodge features 93 luxurious guestrooms, including nine suites, five of which offer separate living rooms and walk-out balconies overlooking the lake. All guest rooms offer king- or queen-sized beds, flat-screen televisions, Keurig coffee machines, a small refrigerator, luxurious linens, Aqua di Parma bath amenities, and complimentary Wi-Fi.  Guests will be able to enjoy Boathouse, an all-day restaurant with a menu of elevated gastropub fare and regional craft brews. Additional amenities opening in 2021 include two additional food and beverage venues, an indoor heated pool and hot tub, a lakeside fire pit, a private marina boasting lake access, and 24 boat slips.

With more than 3,000 square feet of event space, Saranac Waterfront Lodge is ideal for meetings and special events for groups offering 180-degree water views from anywhere in the ballroom, with the ability to draw blackout curtains for A/V purposes.

Committed to sustainability, Saranac Waterfront Lodge will be the first and only LEED-certified hotel in Saranac Lake and the Adirondacks region when the certification process is finalized. The hotel offers Guest ‘Go Green’ incentive programs, along with electric car charging stations and bike parking and storage. Recycling programs are offered throughout, and Saranac Waterfront Lodge offers eco-friendly amenities and cleaning products. Health and safety features were designed into the hotel’s spaces, including the layout and furnishing of the bar, restaurant, and ballroom. The Boathouse dining room was designed to allow for natural physical distancing between tables. The hotel’s ventilation system uses the most updated technology available, and housekeeping incorporates BIOPROTECT antimicrobial technology in its “Peace of Mind” cleaning program. Services, including contactless check-in, are also being offered.
