Located in the stylish Sariyer district of Istanbul’s European side, the resort offers an urban retreat created in heritage mansions surrounded by laurel trees.

Recently awarded “The Safe Tourism Certificate” by the Turkish Tourism board, the resort ensures compliancy with strict guidelines recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO). Touchless hand sanitizers have been installed throughout the hotel; guest temperatures are checked upon arrival; accommodations are disinfected by fogging machine and ULV lights 24 hours before guest arrivals.

When it comes to dining, guests are requests to make advance bookings. All restaurants and bars are open with outdoor elements and have been arranged to ensure social distancing compliance. Menus are available through QR codes which can be viewed on personal devices. To enjoy the summer breeze, additional seating has been provided in the outdoor garden and destination dining can also be arranged at the top of the courtyard. For activities, guests are welcome to use the gym and relaxing pool on a complimentary basis, however these facilities will be available by reservation only so that the hotel is able to monitor guest numbers.

True to Six Senses’ signature hospitality style, The Experiences Team at Six Senses Kocatas Mansions, Istanbul is offering memorable and out-of-the-ordinary experiences in Istanbul. Guests can enjoy boat tours while discovering local tastes of the city’s historical sectors, encounter the local market of Sariyer with the executive chef, join cooking classes incorporating vegetables harvested from the on-site organic garden.

The resort’s prime location is also ideal for guests choosing to visit Istanbul’s nearby golden beaches, where it is possible to swim between two continents, run or bicycle close to the resort or in the city’s largest forest. Earth Lab at Six Senses Kocatas Mansions is the ecology area of the resort where guests can learn about sustainability initiatives, innovations, and also join workshops.

In addition to the unique take on the hospitality of Six Senses Kocatas Mansions, the resort’s own restaurants are ready to take guests on a culinary journey:
