Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris announces the appointment of Edouard Lapasset as Hotel Manager.

Born in Paris, Edouard Lapasset developed an early passion for travel and a deep curiosity for world cultures. This sensibility was shaped by his father, who worked in the tourism sector, and his mother, a schoolteacher, who instilled in him a strong sense of meritocracy and achievement.

A graduate of the École Hôtelière de Paris and holder of an MBA in Hospitality Administration Management, Edouard Lapasset began his career in 2009 at the Hilton Arc de Triomphe in Paris, joining the guest relations team. This formative experience provided him with a comprehensive understanding of guest engagement and day-to-day hotel operations.

Keen to deepen his expertise in rooms division, he joined the housekeeping department of Hôtel du Collectionneur Arc de Triomphe in 2012, initially overseeing public areas. He quickly expanded his responsibilities, managing the cleanliness of all guest rooms, supporting the executive housekeeper, overseeing team scheduling, and leading the implementation of departmental projects. In this demanding environment, where precision and discipline are paramount, Edouard refined his management style and developed a strong understanding of human dynamics.

Driven by a desire to reconnect more directly with guests while gaining international experience, he joined Mandarin Oriental, Geneva in 2014. Over the years, he progressed from assistant front office manager to front office manager, and ultimately to director of rooms. After more than five years in Switzerland, he continued his career in Qatar, where he played a key role in the opening of Mandarin Oriental, Doha as director of rooms. This period, marked by the global pandemic, presented significant challenges, which he navigated with distinction.

In 2022, he returned to Paris to assume the role of hotel manager at Mandarin Oriental, Paris, before being promoted to general manager three years later.

In March 2026, Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris approached him to take on the role of Hotel Manager. He embraced this new challenge with enthusiasm, eager to join one of the world’s most iconic hotels, to bring his energy to the property, and to share his passion with its 650 employees.
