Sebastian Hinsch appointed General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles

Set beneath towering palms on iconic Doheny Drive, Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills announces the appointment of Sebastian Hinsch as General Manager. The role marks a meaningful homecoming for the seasoned hospitality leader, who previously served as Hotel Manager at the property nearly a decade ago.

A Four Seasons veteran with more than two decades of global hospitality leadership, Hinsch brings extensive operational expertise, intimate knowledge of the Los Angeles market, and a deep passion for the intuitive service that has defined the property since it opened as the city’s first Four Seasons in 1987. Most recently, he served as General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Seattle, the city’s only Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star property, where he spent nearly five years elevating the downtown hotel’s reputation while serving as an ambassador of the Pacific Northwest to guests from around the world.

In his role, Hinsch will oversee all strategic business operations of the 285-room urban resort, including Culina Ristorante, La OLA rooftop restaurant, The Lounge, and the hotel’s acclaimed spa and wellness programming, featuring the dedicated wellness floor and Vitality Experts program. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and genuine warmth, Hinsch believes meaningful hospitality reveals itself in unexpected moments.

Born in São Paulo, Brazil and raised in Hamburg, Germany, Hinsch discovered his passion for hospitality through food and beverage internships during his teens before earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Hamburger Hotel Berufsschule.

His Four Seasons journey began in 2001 at The Pierre Hotel in New York (formerly a Four Seasons property) as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. His career has since spanned the globe: Four Seasons Hotel Sydney; Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole; Four Seasons Hotel Houston; Four Seasons Resort Hualalai as Director of Food and Beverage; Hotel Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Chicago (formerly a Four Seasons property); and Resort Manager at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, where he led the team through a USD 120 million renovation and served as acting General Manager in 2020.

Throughout his journey, Hinsch has demonstrated a unique ability to connect authentically with each destination’s culture and community. As he returns to Los Angeles, he is experiencing the city through a new lens alongside his wife and two dogs, serving as both a leader within the hotel and an ambassador of Los Angeles to guests worldwide.
