Rosewood Washington, D.C. is pleased to announce the appointment of Tony Mosca as the hotel’s new Managing Director. With over 20 years of distinguished experience in the hospitality industry, Tony will lead the continued success of the charming Georgetown property.
Tony joins Rosewood Washington, D.C. with an extensive background in luxury hospitality both domestically and internationally. His most recent role was as Hotel Manager at another legendary Rosewood property – The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel in New York City. During his time at The Carlyle, his leadership and commitment to excellence were instrumental in achieving key milestones and accolades for the hotel, including being featured on the 2024 list of The World’s 50 Best Hotels and receiving Two Keys from the MICHELIN Guide.
Tony began his journey with Rosewood in 2014, as Director of Food and Beverage at The Carlyle, and was a key figure in the re-imagination and creativity of the hotel’s culinary experiences, including the introduction of Dowling’s at The Carlyle and the ongoing success of Bemelmans Bar and Cafe Carlyle. Originally from Australia, Tony worked as a leader in Food & Beverage and grew within the industry with Starwood and InterContinental Hotels & Resorts in Australia, London, and the United States.
As Managing Director, Tony will oversee all operational aspects of Rosewood Washington, D.C. His passion for enhancing the guest experience and cultivating team collaboration has been at the forefront of his leadership style and will be a crucial characteristic to take the hotel into its next chapter of success.
