Lama Al Obaidli has been appointed as the assistant director of human resources at Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya.

In her new role, Al Obaidli will be instrumental in cultivating a vibrant and supportive work environment, leveraging her extensive background and enthusiasm for human resources.

Originally from Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, Lama holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Sharjah.

Her journey in hospitality started as a front office agent at Kempinski Al Othman Hotel in March 2018. However, driven by her legal expertise and interest in labour law, Al Obaidli transitioned to the role of human resources admin assistant at the same establishment in 2019.

She later joined the pre-opening team at Grand Hyatt Al Khobar in 2020, where her contributions were pivotal to the successful launch of the property. Recognised for her HR proficiency, she was promoted to assistant manager – human resources in June 2021.

Displaying her versatility and passion for embracing diverse cultures, Al Obaidli served as the assistant head of people & culture for Habitas AlUla and Caravan by Habitas in Al Ula. Her dedication to empowering women both personally and professionally is evident in her commitment to mentorship and advocacy.

Al Obaidli’s career reflects her love for exploration and her desire to immerse herself in various cities and cultures across Saudi Arabia. She envisions a workplace where diversity thrives, inclusion reigns, and empowered women collectively overcome challenges, transforming them into opportunities.
