Lošinj Hotels & Villas is pleased to announce the appointment of Dijana Šapina as its new Executive Director of Human
Resources. Dijana brings a wealth of experience acquired globally, having worked in various hospitality and human resources roles in Canada, Germany, Scotland, and Croatia.
After completing the Hospitality Management program at George Brown College in Toronto, Dijana advanced her career in the hospitality industry. She worked as the F&B Supervisor at the Calgary Winter Club and later as the F&B Manager at Calgary’s Charcut (Hotel Le Germain), collaborating with passionate chefs and hospitality teams. In 2015, she returned to Croatia to serve as the General Manager for beach outlets at Sunčani Hvar Hotels.
Driven by her passion for people development and coaching, Dijana pursued further education, earning a postgraduate diploma in Career Guidance and Development from Napier University in Edinburgh, UK. After completing the program, she relocated to Germany, where she served as a Corporate Senior HR Recruitment & Talent Specialist at GUS-Global University Systems.
