HOTEL DU PONT, the award-winning independent luxury hotel, and iconic Wilmington, Delaware landmark, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Paulus as Director of Sales and Marketing. As the newest addition to the leadership team, Paulus will offer exceptional market vision, strategic business perspectives, and marketing leadership to develop new businesses and achieve sustainable revenue growth in a highly competitive market.
Paulus brings more than three decades of experience in sales and operations with upscale and luxury brands. He most recently worked with Hilton Hotels & Resorts in San Francisco. Additionally, he has experience with other Historic Hotels of America such as Francis Marion Hotel, Cranwell Resort & Spa, The Poinsett Hotel, and the Claremont Resort as well as branded properties including Wyndham and Starwood.
In synergy with HOTEL DU PONT’s 110th Anniversary, Paulus will oversee all commercial efforts for the hotel including Direct Sales, Marketing, and Public Relations. His proven track record of leading teams and driving profitability has been a cornerstone of his career in various geographic areas and across various market segments.
