Northstar Travel Group (“Northstar“), the largest information services, data, events, and marketing solutions company focused exclusively on the travel industry, has promoted Mary Pat Sullivan to the position of Executive Vice President of Marketing for the Travel Group. Sullivan was most recently Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Retail Travel Group at Northstar.
In her new role, Sullivan will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy and vision for the Travel Group. She will oversee strategy and direction for Travel Weekly, TravelAge West, TravelPulse, the Information Products Group, Events and Audience Marketing. She will also collaborate with brand and marketing leaders to foster the marketing vision and strategy for the BTN Group, Burba Hotel Network, and Phocuswright, as well as corporate marketing strategy and needs.
Sullivan been an active part of Northstar for more than two decades as a consultant to the retail brands and has been leading the retail group marketing strategy as SVP of Marketing since August of 2021.
Sullivan started her travel career in 1988 as a beat reporter covering Mexico for Tour & Travel News and has remained an active part of the travel industry since that time in media, event and consulting roles always immersed in the travel advisor and supplier community.
