Smyth Tribeca announced today that Brianna Birtles has been appointed as the new Director of Sales and Marketing. Managed by Highgate, Smyth Tribeca is an independent neighborhood hotel in the heart of Tribeca and a stylish destination for business, leisure, and family travelers. In her new role, Birtles will oversee the hotel’s sales and marketing efforts and will work to drive new business opportunities and revenue growth.
With more than a decade of sales and marketing experience in the hospitality space, Birtles joins the Smyth Tribeca team from TOMS Hospitality Group where she was the Director of Events and Marketing. In this role, she developed and implemented sales and marketing campaigns, established new brand initiatives, and drove overall revenue opportunities for multiple outlets within the portfolio. Previously, Birtles served as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Cheeca Lodge & Spa, Area Director of Sales with Gurney’s Resorts, Director of Sales & Marketing for Oceans Edge Resort & Marina, as well as sales, marketing, and operational roles at The Marker, Parrot Key and Tranquility Bay Resorts.
Birtles holds an Accelerated Certificate in Hotel Operations from New York University and a degree in Business Administration from Southampton College.
Centrally located on the corner of West Broadway and Chambers Street, Smyth Tribeca is nestled in the heart of Tribeca, where epicurean treasures and cultural riches are tucked along cobblestone streets. The 100-room hotel recently welcomed a new restaurant, Smyth Tavern, and a new lobby bar will open in late November.
