Stanly Ranch, Auberge Resorts Collection, a new luxury resort and residential property opening in Napa Valley this winter, has appointed Ed Gannon as General Manager. A seasoned hospitality professional with more than 30 years of luxury experience, Gannon will oversee all operations for the 700-acre property that is anticipated to open in early 2022.
“We are fortunate to have Ed join the Auberge family and the team at Stanly Ranch,” said Craig Reid, chief executive officer, Auberge Resorts Collection. “His extensive hospitality background and knowledge in the luxury space make him perfectly suited to launch a new luxury resort that is completely unique to the destination.”
Gannon joins Auberge after an impressive tenure with Four Seasons Resorts, serving as General Manager at both Four Season Resort and Residences Jackson Hole and Four Season Resort Nevis. Prior to his time with Four Seasons, Gannon held leadership positions at luxury hotels and resorts worldwide, from Rosewood Hotels and Resorts’ Jumby Bay in Antigua to Caneel Bay in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, Winnetu Oceanside Resort in Martha’s Vineyard and Rosewood’s Sand Hill property in Menlo Park, California.
Gannon carved out his own career path from the kitchen to the executive office, bringing impressive culinary experience to his hotelier resume. Prior to his General Manager role, Gannon previously held the title of Executive Chef at a variety of luxury properties including Four Seasons Hotel Boston and The White Barn Inn in Kennebunkport, Maine.
“I’m thrilled to lead an incredible team at Stanly Ranch, especially during this exciting period of opening,” said Gannon. “I look forward to welcoming guests to see a new Napa Valley that can be discovered at the resort, with incredible culinary, wellbeing and experiences for both new guests and those who know and love the brand’s Napa properties.”
Born in Miami, Florida and raised in the New York area, Gannon earned his college degree at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. In his free time, he enjoys being with his wife Michelle, a former hospitality manager, and their three dogs, Rika, Zerxes and Pappi.
