Radisson Blu Anaheim today announced the appointment of Steve Lindburg as the hotel’s general manager. The hotel is anticipated to open in September 2020. Lindburg served as general manager for Radisson Blu Minneapolis Downtown since 2013. During that time, he played a key role in re-branding the hotel to a Radisson Blu after its $28 million renovations.
“Steve is a hospitality veteran with a vast knowledge of the industry and our Radisson Blu brand,” said Elias Assaly, vice president, managed hotels, Americas, Radisson Hotel Group. “He is an invaluable asset to our company, providing leadership and expertise that will make this hotel a top destination in Anaheim.”
Radisson Blu Anaheim will be located only one mile from Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.
The new-build hotel developed by BPM Real Estate Group will feature 326 guestrooms and will be the tallest hotel in Anaheim at 12 stories. Guests will be able to enjoy a family activity space, a resort pool on the ground level, a rooftop pool with a bar and restaurant, fitness center, along with the brand’s signature onsite restaurant FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar.
