Cvent CEO and Founder, Reggie Aggarwal, was inducted into BTN Group’s prestigious Business Travel Hall of Fame during an invitation-only black-tie gala hosted at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City on December 2, 2019. Since its inception, just 40 people have been inducted into the Hall of Fame, which honors distinguished business travel leaders that have had a profound impact on the industry. It is hosted by The BTN Group, the leading global source of business travel and meeting information.
Previous Hall of Fame inductees include the Founders of Hilton Hotels, Southwest Airlines, and JetBlue, the CEOs of American Airlines, British Airways, Emirates Airlines, Air France, Avis, Hertz, and the Chairmen of Hyatt, Marriott, and Concur, among others.
“Reggie has made an incredible impact on the business travel industry and his induction into The BTN Group’s Business Travel Hall of Fame highlights Cvent’s important role in driving innovation across the globe with its market-leading technology and industry expertise,” said Louis Magliaro, senior vice president of The BTN Group. “Last year, Business Travel News named Reggie as one of the 25 Most Influential People in Business Travel, and as Cvent celebrates its 20th year in business this year, we felt this was the perfect time to further recognize his achievements and dedication to the industry.”
“I am deeply honored to be recognized by The BTN Group and inducted into The Business Travel Hall of Fame,” said Aggarwal. “To be included among such a distinguished list of accomplished individuals is truly remarkable and is a testament to the great work being done by the Cvent team.”
