Award-winning Shore Lodge resort and adjoining private second home community Whitetail Club in McCall, Idaho, announced the appointment of Tom E. Garcia as President and General Manager.
Garcia will bring his extensive experience in the golf club, resort, spa, and luxury real estate sectors with an emphasis on operations and renovations leadership to his new role. He will oversee all aspects of the 1,300-acre Whitetail Club community and historic 77-room Shore Lodge resort located in the heart of the region’s prized Salmon River Mountains. His predecessor Dan Scott will assume a new position with Shore Lodge and Whitetail Club’s parent company.

Garcia brings decades of hotel, resort, and luxury hospitality experience to Shore Lodge and Whitetail Club. Most recently, Garcia served as the vice president and general manager at High Hampton in North Carolina, with Benchmark Hospitality International. His breadth of knowledge includes resorts with a similar focus on outdoor experiences & lifestyle programming within destination markets, which included oversight of four-star and four-diamond level and above resorts across the country. Additionally, throughout his career, Garcia has served on the board of directors of multiple hospitality and visitor bureaus, while participating in a wide variety of community charitable events.

Garcia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Information Systems Management from California State University Hayward. Garcia and his wife Michelle hail from the Dallas, Texas area where they raised their three college-aged sons.
