Fort Young Hotel & Dive Resort, Dominica’s prized landmark hotel, announced the appointment of José Abreu as General Manager. He will oversee the complete operation of the property, including the hotel’s final phase of renovations.
Abreu Brings Twenty-Plus Years of Hospitality Experience to the Island’s Landmark Hotel.
A native of Dominican Republic, Abreu launched his hospitality career in 1996 as a cashier, rising through the ranks within accounting and then moving to operations, Resident Manager and, most recently, General Manager of ACOYA Curacao Resort, Villas & Spa. Abreu has been part of the operations and executives team of AAA Four Diamond and Preferred Hotels-recognized properties.
