Montage Kapalua Bay has announced the appointment of Aubrey Concar as Director of Catering and Conference Services.
With over 26 years of experience, Concar will oversee all aspects of catering and conference services for the luxury oceanfront resort on the island of Maui. Her role will include building a new team and fashioning a solid foundation for impressive growth in onsite events including corporate meetings, social gatherings, and weddings.

Concar joins Montage Kapalua Bay from Two Roads Hospitality in San Diego, California, where she was assistant director of conference services. Previously, she held a series of management-level positions with Hyatt Regency hotel properties across the U.S., including associate director of sales & events with Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa in California; catering sales/convention services manager with Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa in Hawaii; convention services manager with Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort, Spa & Marina in Cambridge, Maryland; and sales manager with Hyatt Regency at the Arcade in Cleveland, Ohio. Concar was an event consultant for her own company, Simply Spectacular Events, and held various manager and event planner positions with catering and special events companies.
Born and raised in Avon Lake, Ohio, Concar studied design, with a focus on interior design, at Kent State University, as well as business management at Santa Barbara City College. She has pursued continuing education with various organizations including the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants.
