Bettina Haeberle appointed Area Director, Sales & Marketing for BŸrgenstock Selection

In addition to directing sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives for the hospitality group, she will also oversee the sales offices and the public relations agencies in the U.S., UK, Germany, Middle East and Asia.Ê

Ms Haeberle will focus her efforts on the BŸrgenstock Resort, Switzerland’s newest luxury resort, which has 383 rooms in four hotels (the five-star superior BŸrgenstock Hotel & Alpine Spa, the five-star Waldhotel Health & Medical Excellence, the four-star superior Palace Hotel & Conferences and the three-star Taverne 1879), a state-of-the-art medical center, 67 residences (57 apartments and 10 villas), 12 restaurants, lounges and bars, a 107,000 square-foot spa and wellness center, meeting space for 900 people, a nine-hole golf course and three championship tennis courts.

Most recently, Ms Haeberle was Area Director of Operations, Continental Europe for the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) with responsibility for 105 hotels over three brands. Prior to that, she was Area Director of Sales, Germany & Central Europe tasked with increasing revenues across 14 hotels of two luxury brands with IHG.Ê She began her career at Forte Hotels in Portugal and the UK, before moving on to Luxembourg, Slovenia, Tunisia, Poland, Hungary and Austria with Hyatt and InterContinental Hotels.

Ms Haeberle graduated from HOSTA Hotel and Tourism School in Leysin, Switzerland.Ê A German citizen, she speaks English, French and German.Ê She is interested in interior design and in her spare time, enjoys sailing, golf, snowboarding.
