Today, Marriott International, Inc. and Delonix Group announced eight total signed agreements, including three announced in May 2024 and five recent newly signed hotels, as part of the two companies’ cooperation that launched in January 2024. With these additional five agreements, Marriott continues to steadily expand the Tribute Portfolio brand presence in Mainland China.
Leveraging a franchising model and in connection with Delonix group, the five new signings include a Grand House hotel in Shaoxing; Grand New Century Hotel, Wenzhou, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel; Wonderland Resort, Shangrao Sanqingshan, a Tribute Portfolio Resort; Grand House, Jiangyin, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel; and Grand New Century Resort, Changxing, a Tribute Portfolio Resort. These projects are expected to open between 2025 and 2026.
In addition, the companies are celebrating the official opening of two of the first three hotels that were signed in May 2024 — Grand New Century Hotel, Hangzhou Boao, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, and Wonderland Resort, Hangzhou Jiande, a Tribute Portfolio Resort — bringing characterful, independent hotel experiences with captivating designs and vibrant social scenes for guests.

Marriott International and Delonix Group reached a long-term cooperation agreement in January 2024. Under this agreement, the two companies have been working together to grow Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio brand in mainland China. The parties anticipate that at least 100 properties could become part of the Tribute Portfolio over the coming years.
Expanding Tribute Portfolio’s Presence In Mainland China with Five New Projects
The new signings will introduce the Tribute Portfolio brand to five scenic destinations: Shaoxing, Wenzhou, Shangrao, Jiangyin, and Changxing. A Grand House hotel in Shaoxing is nestled at the foot of Kuaiji Mountain in Shaoxing, one of the birthplaces of ancient Chinese culture. Overlooking the Dayu Mausoleum Scenic Area, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the Yuling River. It features 152 guest rooms that seamlessly blend modern design with original architectural elements. Grand New Century Hotel, Wenzhou, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel is situated in the heart of Wenzhou, providing convenient access to major attractions such as the Wenzhou Museum and Wenzhou Grand Theater, as well as the city’s main shopping district. The hotel boasts 346 guest rooms designed with a minimalist yet sophisticated aesthetic, offering stunning panoramic views of the vibrant cityscape. Wonderland Resort, Shangrao Sanqingshan, a Tribute Portfolio Resort located in Shangrao, Jiangxi, is adjacent to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Sanqingshan and will feature 248 guest rooms with breathtaking mountain views. Grand House, Jiangyin, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is located in Mazhen Town, the former home of famed Chinese explorer Xu Xiake. With 182 guest rooms, the property provides a convenient base for exploring the scenic water towns in the area, and is just a 30-minute drive from the Jiangyin and Wuxi high-speed railway stations. Grand New Century Resort, Changxing, a Tribute Portfolio Resort on the shores of Taihu Lake in Changxing, Huzhou will draw design inspiration from the Jiangnan region’s picturesque water towns. The hotel’s 154 guest rooms will offer guests a rejuvenating holiday experience among incredible lake and mountain scenery.
Tribute Portfolio Brand Debuts in Hangzhou, Characterful Hotels for Independent Experiences
The Grand New Century Hotel, Hangzhou Boao, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel is situated in the heart of Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, surrounded by the picturesque Xiang Lake. Inspired by the fluidity of water, the hotel exudes an elegant yet energizing atmosphere. The lobby features the art installation “Impression of Xiang Lake”. The hotel features 299 guest rooms and suites with fresh and elegantly understated interiors.
Wonderland Resort, Hangzhou Jiande, a Tribute Portfolio Resort, is situated in the Qililong Scenic Area, nestled between the Fuchun River and Xin’an River in Jiande City. The resort seamlessly integrates the natural surroundings in its architectural design, creating a captivating aesthetic that fully immerses guests in the stunning landscape of the Fuchun River. The resort features 203 rooms and suites, including charming lakeside cabins and villa-style lodges, offering a relaxing retreat.
