Accor Plus, the Asia Pacific region’s leading travel loyalty subscription programme, is today celebrating its 30th birthday.

The moment marks the launch of a special 45-second birthday video, released across Accor Plus’ digital channels, aimed at highlighting the programme’s evolution and its commitment to delivering exclusive benefits and memorable experiences to its members over the past three decades.
What began in Sydney in 1994 has grown beyond expectations. From just three hotels, Accor Plus has expanded across Asia Pacific, now operating in key markets such as New Zealand, Thailand, Greater China, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Today, Accor Plus proudly supports over 1,000 hotels and 1,400 restaurants, offering more than 23 Accor brands including Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel, Mercure and ibis. This remarkable journey has been driven by trust, loyalty, and a commitment to creating unforgettable experiences.
Accor Plus members have consistently demonstrated their loyalty by returning to Accor hotels after crises or significant events. In 2023, Accor Plus set a new benchmark: members stayed over 2.2 million nights. As Accor Plus marks this milestone year, projections indicate that by the end of 2024, more than 450,000 members will have enjoyed over 3 million room nights at Accor hotels across Asia Pacific, redeeming 10 million ALL points for exclusive experiences. These figures underscore Accor Plus’s leadership in loyalty subscriptions and the significant value its members bring to the hotels.
“Accor Plus is all about creating memorable experiences,” said Renae Trimble, CEO of Accor Plus. “Our members enjoy access to an unrivalled selection of hotels, each offering exceptional service and heartfelt hospitality across a diverse array of cultures. This milestone is a testament to their loyalty, as well as the dedication of our incredible hotel teams, General Managers, and owners across Asia Pacific.”
Looking ahead, Accor Plus is set to continue its journey of innovation and growth. With a bold vision for the future, Accor Plus remains committed to redefining loyalty in travel, with many more milestones on the horizon.
“The best is yet to come,” Trimble said. “We are excited about the remarkable moments we will create together in the years ahead, as we continue to lead the way in loyalty subscriptions and travel experiences.”
