Energized by recent awards for its educational and partnership programs, the Washington, D.C., chapter of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International has rolled out a full-year schedule of events for 2024.
The chapter’s schedule of events for 2024 includes the following:
- Sales Academy 2024, Feb. 22 at Hyatt Place Washington DC/National Mall
- How Revenue Optimization Happens, April 18 at the Hyatt Regency Dulles in Herndon, Virginia
- A joint meeting with the Association of Meeting Planners, July 9 at The Royal Sonesta Washington DC Dupont Circle
- State of the Industry, Aug. 22 at the Hilton Washington DC National Mall The Wharf
- Directors Roundtable & Conference, Nov. 14 at MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Maryland

HSMAI DC was honored with Frank W. Berkman Best of the Best awards for Education and Partnership in the Large Chapter category for 2023. The awards, presented at the HSMAI Mike Leven Leadership Conference in Las Vegas last month, showcase best practices and are named for the executive director of HSMAI who served from the 1960s until 1981.
