Travel Technology Europe Doubles VIP Buyer Numbers as Visitors Rise to Record Levels

TTE1-3782019 dates confirmed: 20-21 February, Olympia London

ÒThis year’s Travel Technology Europe was the busiest we’ve ever seen,Ó said event director David Chapple, Òwith packed out conference theatres, buzzing aisles, busy stands, and animated, excited chatter in the Tech Huddles and brand-new Advice Clinics. It was non-stop, just the most incredible two days of business in our 15-year history.Ó

A sell out, the show featured 138 exhibitors across its marketing, technology and hotel zones, including Sabre, Atcore and Tigerbay, AirDNA, Vibe Software, Comtec, Dolphin Dynamics, Freshdesk, Inspiretec, Codegen, Paxport, RMS The Hospitality Cloud, Sitecore, OTA Insight, Guestline, ICE and Fairmas.

The popular Launchpad returned for a third year, helping 15 fledgling disruptors get a toe-hold in the market, and the third Travel Technology Disrupt Award was won by Swayy, a new service that quickly and easily connects hotel and travel companies with relevant influencers.

The conference sessions were unsurprisingly rammed given there were over 100 speakers delivering 60 sessions, including keynotes from the likes of Facebook, Inspiretec and the Lime Wood Group.

ÒTravel technology is evolving at lightning speed and the demand to keep ahead of the curve is immense, just one of the many reasons this year’s show was our biggest year yet,Ó added David Chapple.

ÒWith an incredibly diverse range of exhibitors across all aspects of travel and hotel technology, buyers had the chance to discover the latest technologies all under one roof as well as attend fascinating and inspiring sessions with some of the industry’s brightest minds. While exhibitors have been able to connect with new prospects, current clients and industry influencers. As the industry continues to grow we look forward to seeing everyone back for more of the same in 2019.Ó

Travel Technology Europe 2019 will take place from 20-21 February.
