Christian moves within the Raffles family to Beijing from Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor, Siem Reap where he has been General Manager since 2011.

Chang, a 23-year hospitality industry veteran who has managed hotels in New York and California, will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s operations.

Construction of the Shangri-La hotel is slated next year with the hotel expected to open in 2019.

The five-star hotel in the Berchtesgadener Land boasts 138 rooms and suites and is scheduled for take-over in the first half of 2015.
