NoMad London appoints Christopher Perone as General Manager

NoMad London is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Perone, previously Food and Beverage Director, as General Manager of the West End hotspot. A native New Yorker, who helped to launch the original NoMad NYC in 2012, Perone brings over 20 years of operational experience and a wealth of industry knowledge. Since construction of the London flagship began, Perone has played a key role as Food and Beverage Director, developing the culinary offerings and calibre of hospitality the brand is celebrated for.

Christopher Perone, General Manager, NoMad London states: “NoMad has played a key role in my career, serving as a source of inspiration in all I’ve done. Now, in London, we’re looking forward to new chapters honouring NoMad’s roots. Since inception, we have aimed to provide a holistic hospitality experience embracing food & beverage and rooms where one informs the other. I couldn’t feel more grateful to be working alongside the calibre of leaders NoMad has produced, both past and present.”

After Perone’s initial time at NoMad NYC, he was a General Manager on Nantucket Island prior to relocating to Dublin, Ireland to study his MBA at Trinity College. Christopher arrived here in 2019 as the first boots on the ground to develop and launch Davies and Brook at Claridge’s after his time at Eleven Madison Park in NYC. In addition to his MBA, he holds a dual BA in Neuroscience and Psychology from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. An expert in the lifestyle hospitality market, Perone has a multitude of strengths across hospitality, travel, food and beverage.

NoMad London – opened by New-York based hospitality company, Sydell Group – is the first international property for The NoMad hotel brand, in the historic former Magistrate’s Court in the heart of London’s West End. This is the brand’s most intimate property at 91 rooms including 21 suites, centred around several exquisite dining and drinking spaces in the NoMad tradition. The hotel lends its residential warmth and casual elegance to the storied building, layering it with rich interiors and a playful spirit that is decidedly NoMad. NoMad London is also home to a world-class art programme celebrating the influence of post-war American art and the European avant-garde.
