Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve has announced the completion of its redesigned five-bedroom villa and historical estate, Su Casa. Su Casa is the former estate of historical figure Clara Livingston, the 200th licensed female pilot and 11th female helicopter pilot in the world. The expansive five-bedroom 1920s Spanish style hacienda villa spans 8,000 square feet along the beach and has an open-concept floor plan with floor-to-ceiling windows.
Guests of Su Casa will find the original architecture and foundation remains in place, while it was updated with custom pieces by design firm Champalimaud and artwork by local artists, including bright murals by Sophia Maldonado. There will also be antiques from the original owners.
The two-story villa can accommodate 12 guests across five bedrooms, each complete with a walk-in closet and a connecting spacious bathroom. The villa has a variety of flexible spaces from the dining room, living room, game room, private infinity pool, outdoor seating with a fireplace and more. The Su Casa experience includes its own private spa treatment room, Spa Botánico amenities, a media room with the latest tech and a dedicated ambassador available 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
