With over two decades of global experience in luxury hospitality, Nessi brings a visionary leadership style rooted in innovation, cultural authenticity, and sustainability.
Since its opening less than a year ago, Casona Roma Norte — operated by boutique hospitality group Hamak Hotels — has rapidly established itself as one of the city’s most distinguished new properties. The hotel artfully blends contemporary luxury with a deep appreciation for local culture and artistry. Among its highlights are four distinctive culinary concepts, including AQUILES, led by renowned Chef Aquiles Chávez and recently featured in the Michelin Guide. As it approaches its first anniversary, the property continues to captivate discerning travelers in search of authentic, immersive, and meaningful experiences.
Born in Istanbul and raised between the South of France and Turkey, Nessi now proudly calls Mexico City home. Since joining the property in July 2025, he has overseen all aspects of operations, from financial strategy and team development to enhancing the guest journey and strengthening community ties.
Nessi’s career spans leadership roles at some of the world’s most prestigious hospitality brands, including Accor, Marriott, Banyan Tree, and Swissôtel. His track record includes spearheading a $4.5 million renovation and expansion at Banyan Tree Bangkok, launching the globally acclaimed Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo in Panama, and elevating service standards at properties such as D Maris Bay and The St. Regis Istanbul.
A graduate of the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland and holder of a Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management from the University of Wales, Nessi’s extensive international background across Europe, Asia, and the Americas has shaped a leadership style that is both globally fluent and deeply guest-centric.
