According to the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), international tourist arrivals grew 6% globally in the first six months of 2018, with strong performances from the Southern Mediterranean Europe and South-East Asia regions.
International tourists up in the first half of 2015 by 21 million
Destinations worldwide received some 538 million international tourists between January and June 2015, an increase of 4% according to the latest UNWTO World Tourism Barometer.
