Starwood Hotels and Resorts has announced that it has signed three hotel deals in Cuba, the first time a US hotel company has done so in almost 60 years. Starwood beat out several other US hospitality companies that have been trying to invest in hotels in Cuba, including Marriott International.

Even Frydenberg the new President and CEO for Scandic
The Board of Directors of Scandic Hotels has announced that Even Frydenberg will take over the position of President and CEO. Current CEO Frank Fiskers has decided to leave the company this summer, while Mr Frydenberg comes most recently from Starwood Hotels and Resorts, and will start his position on July 31.
