Rebranding of RestelÕs hotels as Scandic hotels now completed
Today, Scandic Hotels has completed the rebranding of RestelÕs former Cumulus hotels to the Scandic-brand. In December 2017, Scandic acquired RestelÕs hotel operations with 43 hotels and around 7,600 rooms, most of which were operating under the Cumulus brand.
Scandic expands in Drammen, Norway
Scandic Hotels has signed a long-term agreement with Norwegian Utstillingsplassen Eiendom A/S to take over the Ambassadeur Hotel and the Globus Hotel in Drammen, Norway from January 2017.
Sylvia Schnelle joins Scandic for new position of Director of Business Development in Germany
Schnelle’s most recent position was at Steigenberger Hotels where she was Vice President Business Development. Prior to this, she worked as Acquisitions and Development Manager at Vastint Hospitality, a part of Inter-IKEA’s property division.
